As COO, Cathy Hunt is responsible for overseeing Evolve’s daily diligence pipeline and client services for many key clients. She has seen success at every stage of her 20-year mortgage industry career and brings an extensive knowledge base and perspective to the company’s diligence and compliance services.
A former top producing loan officer, Hunt has held several roles since joining Evolve in 2009, including vice president of legal and compliance services and executive vice president of operations. She has helped streamline the company’s operations and workflows, led efforts to comply with regulatory changes—including RESPA 2010 Rule and TRID—and oversaw diligence teams that performed billions in loan reviews in 2019. She was also instrumental in leading Evolve’s drive into the third-party review market and its expansion into non-QM origination and acquisition support services. In 2019, Hunt was named a HousingWire HW Insider in recognition of her vital contributions to help both Evolve and the mortgage industry function smoothly.
