Charles E. Epperson brings to Evolve more than 20 years of information systems and IT management experience in operations, programming, business analysis, software design and development, electronic commerce and eNote and eMortgage technologies and implementation. A founding father of the eMortgage movement.

Epperson joined Evolve in 2009 after spending 10 years with Stewart Title, where he led the company’s eMortgage technology and development efforts. He is active in the research, development and implementation of paperless real estate transactions, electronic intelligent document production, electronic mortgage transactions and e-closings. Through his work with the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) and the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO), Epperson has co-authored many real-estate industry national data standards and currently serves on many industry committees, workgroups and organizations. Named a “Technology All-Star” by Mortgage Banking Magazine in 2009, he has also served on PRIA’s Board of Directors and MISMO’s Residential Standards Governance Committee. In 2018 he received MISMO Outstanding Contribution Award for his commitment to the advancement of eMortgage solutions and accessibility and was named a Tech Trendsetter in 2020 by HousingWire. Epperson received his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
